Cathedral of Praise

Located in the growing environs of North Charleston, South Carolina, Cathedral of Praise selected Shanks Architects to design their new worship center, bookstore/café and children’s expansion space with an emphasis on connecting visually to the community.  The lobby is a casual light-filled space inviting people to grab a cup of coffee and “hang” (fellowship) throughout the week.

The 1,800 seat worship center, designed by Acoustic Dimensions, is a U-shaped arena configuration with an elongated thrust stage designed for maximum impact and connection with the audience.
