Susan Shanks

No, the last name is not coincidental.  Susan is one of multiple thousands who support their spouse at the office.  The well worn phrase, 24 / 7, does not quite capture the task…perhaps a more appropriate phrase would be…25 / 8 / 366.  In addition to her responsibilities in the business and financial aspects of the office, Susan serves as resident proofreader and voice of reason.  Susan is well qualified, having majored in French in college, worked in corporate banking, and as a pastor's assistant for a number of years. 

Susan began her love of sports as a teenager, having played first base for the 1967 Cliff Temple Baptist 14-and-under girls’ softball team.  She is an avid fan of the Texas Rangers and enjoys going to as many games as possible.  Susan and David have two grown sons, Paul and Daniel.
